Confirmed: 24-hour metro throughout the nine days
The council PDF explicitly lists Metro Bilbao as running «24 hours» from 22 to 30 August. This confirms continuous service throughout Aste Nagusia, but it is not a station-by-station timetable:
- Service is announced for all nine days, including weekday nights.
- Frequencies may vary by date, time band and section of the network.
- Check your destination station and operational notices before travelling home.
Still to come: detailed frequencies
The municipal programme confirms continuous service but does not give a table of frequencies by station and line. Once Metro Bilbao publishes its specific operating notice, that detail will take precedence and be added here.
How to check on the day
The exact last-train time varies by line and station. Metro Bilbao publishes live departures under «próximos trenes» on its website and on the station displays. For a specific night, that beats any guide.
Customer offices in August
Through August only the Zazpikaleak/Casco Viejo office opens, 8:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday. Areeta and Ansio stay closed.
